Vertical sump pump for coal washery


With about 57.5 billion tons of coal reserve (industrial economic reserves of 39.7 billion tons), Australia's coal production and export are sixth in the world, following the United States, Russia, China, India and South Africa. And the coal quality is good with high calorific value, low sulfur, nitrogen content and ash.

Excellence has provided the several pump models with high head according to customer’s demand.
Pump model:
Vertical sump  pump: EVHM-4RV (The packing seal will be supplied and submersible length is 1.2m.)
Horizontal slurry pump: EGM-6S
Based on special installation requirements, pumps of EVM(R) series are designed vertical, which allows to be used in pools. The slurry pump are of single casing structure, featuring in light weight, small volume, easy installation and maintenance, etc.
The wear parts of EVM Series are made of anti-abrasive alloy while that of EVR Series pump are anti-corrosive rubbers, which suits for delivering corrosive slurry with tiny particles.
According to liquid level of pools, shaft length and suction pipe of different sizes are available. The pumps work with various speeds and ensure a long life, which meet the different requirements on hard transporting conditions. Based on of customers’ requirements, optional mixing wheels are available, with which transport efficiency of vertical sump pump is greatly increased.
Excellence has established Asia-Pacific group to provide localized service. The customer is very satisfied with the solution, and gives us the positive feedback. They have sent us the site picture as reference. The pumps have been smoothly running  for 3 years.

Project Description
Vietnam's iron ore resources are mainly distributed in the northern areas of 27 degrees north latitude. 
Iron production areas in the northwest region along the red river valley such as Laokai, AnPei, Phu Tho, 
Vinh Phu has over 200 million tons. The northeast areas have iron ore reserve of 500 million. The central 
north area has about 800 million tons.

Belonged to one of the major Vietnamese iron ore plants, the iron ores are mainly magnetite. First proposed
 in 2012 and officially put into work in Sep, 2013, the slurry pump solution for the whole project was provided 
by Excellence in January.  Four pumps was shipped to working site in March.  In 2014 the project  phrase two,
 Excellence will still in charge of slurry pump solution.

After-Service
Excellence is devoted to serving our clients with sincerity. Excellence engineers went to working site
 for installation guidance and pump trial run in April, 2013. Four months later, our project manager 
visited the working site and the pumps had superb performance during the trial run period. The project is 
now officially in operation.

Though money isn’t plant on trees, gold is. According to news in Australia, some tiny golden spot was found on the eucalyptus tree’s leaves, which led to the discovery of underground gold deposit.

A group of Australian scientists found that tree could found gold deposit as far as 35 meters underground, during its process of finding water source. If the tree found gold, its root would take inslight of the precious mineral. The gold would be diluted and cycle in itssystem. Though gold would cycle in the whole system, the leaf gathered most of thegold. The top of the leave would gather a lot of gold, and formed crystal.

Scientistscan use X ray to detect the gold content in the tree. So far, it still can’t beused as a definite method to judge gold deposit. However, it may stimulate innovations that enable us to find gold without digging the land.

Wet Parts
Wet parts, namely the pump parts have direct connection with slurry, are very crucial to the service life of slurry pumps. The wet parts, include impeller, liner, throatbush, frame plate liner insert, casing, etc., are very easily worn-out components because they work under longtime impact of abrassive and corrosive slurries in the high speed. For the long service life of pump parts, the material plays an important role here.
 Excellence pump offers the two solutions for this problem. We choose the white iron, high chrome for the strong abrasive slurries with the sharp particles.

As for the corrsive slurries with blunt particles, we recommend the natural rubber. We have standard impeller materials which are suitable for most applications.
If the slurry is really special in property, customized impeller materials are available.

Standard Materials
Metal:
1. KmTBCr27 is named in China, which has 27% Chrome. Alloy KmTBCr27 is a wear resistant white iron that offers excellent performance under erosive conditions.
2. KmTBCr28 has the main elements of Chrome 28%, low Carbon with hardness of 430 in Brinell. KmTBCr28 is a corrosion resistant white iron suitable for low pH corrosion duties, where erosive wear is also a problem.
3. KmTBCr35 has the main elements of Chrome35-45%, low Carbon with hardness of 450 in Brinell. KmTBCr35 is a premium erosion/corrosion alloy to be used where excellent erosion and corrosion resistance is required.

Rubber:
1. ER01 is used for impellers where superior erosive resistance is required in fine particle slurries. The hardness of ER01 makes it more resistant to both chunking wear and dilation (ie, expansion caused by centrifugal forces) as compared to ER02. ER01 is generally only used for impellers. 
2. The antioxidants and antidegradents used in ER02 have been optimized to improve storage life and reduce degradation during use. The high erosion resistance of ER02 is provided by the combination of its high resilience, high tensile strength and low short hardness.

Customized Materials
Excellence is always making continuous optimization of materials like EPDM, Hapalon, Hastelloy, CD4MCu and other anti-abrasive materials for various applications.
